Nia routines are done barefoot to wide ranging, engaging music, and deliver a powerful cardiovascular workout with whole-body conditioning. Nia integrates the power and precision of martial arts; easy to learn skills and enjoyment from dance arts movements; along with breath, alignment and strength of yoga and healing arts. It is adaptable and safe for any fitness level — from stiff beginners to highly fit athletes.
Every class is guided for multiple levels of ability so you move at your level. Beginners are welcome to any class, and established fitness buffs can find a challenging and fun, total body workout. Nia's process — warming up, getting moving (powerful non-impact aerobic moves), cool down, and floor work/play — brings "functional fitness" and reduces stress — free of injury.
